No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can set up SalonHub. Registration takes under 5 minutes and we guide you through every step.
Most salon owners are live within an afternoon. Add your services, set your team's schedules, and share your link. The whole process typically takes under an hour.
No downloads needed. SalonHub works in any modern web browser on your phone, tablet or desktop. Your clients don't need to download anything either.
Yes. You can import clients from a CSV file. Contact our support team at support@salonhub.co.za and we'll help you migrate.
Yes. Your booking page works in any browser on any phone. Clients just tap your link and book in under a minute — no download required.
Yes. SalonHub works for any appointment-based beauty business — barbers, nail technicians, lash artists, beauty therapists, and more.
Yes. You can add bookings manually from your dashboard for walk-in clients. The system will prevent double-bookings automatically.
Clients receive a cancellation link in their WhatsApp confirmation. You can also reschedule or cancel any booking directly from your dashboard.
Yes. You can add blocked-out time per stylist directly from the calendar view. These blocks prevent clients from booking during those times.
When a client books, they receive an instant WhatsApp confirmation. Then, 24 hours before their appointment, they get an automatic reminder. You don't need to do anything — it's fully automated.
No. SalonHub uses its own WhatsApp Business API integration. You don't need your own WhatsApp Business account to send reminders.
The core confirmation and reminder messages are templated for reliability. Custom message templates are on our roadmap for a future update.

Yes. Each staff member has their own weekly schedule and can be assigned specific services. Clients only see slots that are genuinely available for their chosen stylist.
Yes. Each staff member can be invited with their own login. They can view their bookings and update appointment statuses from their account.
You'll be prompted to subscribe at R399/month via PayFast. If you choose not to, your account is paused — your data is kept safe and you can reactivate anytime.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on Google Cloud in Johannesburg. We are fully POPIA compliant and never sell or share your client data.
Yes. Cancel from your billing settings at any time. No penalties, no minimum contract. Your account remains active until the end of your paid period.
No. SalonHub charges one flat monthly fee. We don't take a cut of your bookings or charge extra for busy months.
Yes. The dashboard is fully mobile-responsive. View bookings, manage your calendar and check revenue reports from anywhere.
The web dashboard works great on mobile. A native iOS and Android app for salon owners is on our roadmap.
